Vale Hydro is a community project hosted at the Vale in Mossley, England ( www.the-vale.co.uk ) the Vale is a carnival arts organisation. Our aims are to learn about micro hydro power generation in a sociable and community enhancing environment. We aim to research and experiment so that we eventually can build a viable micro power generation station on our land, which will contribute to reducing carbon emmsions from our carnival arts work. We are not restricted to hydro electric generation, also interested in wind power, solar and other ways to reduce our carbon emmisons and move towards a sustainable carbon neutral or negatitive future.
